After graduating Tufts University, I started my own technology solutions company in 1993. From the very beginning, the focus was always on the client. Our priorities were to pay close attention to details, assess requirements thoroughly, and satisfy customers consistently. I took our company, NWS Corporation, from a small start-up technology firm to an integrated, multi-million dollar organization. I established working contractual relationships with companies such as Xerox and IBM and our team delivered solutions to clients ranging from the SMB to the enterprise space. A portion of our services was finding the right person for the job.
We maintained technology leadership through an early-analysis and early-adoption philosophy. This allowed us to operate ahead of the technology demand curve, and enabled us to deliver timely and impactful solutions to the organizations we served.
In early 2008, our hard work and effort paid off with the sale of NWS Corporation. As an entrepreneur, I wanted to leverage my technology expertise, and move more into the search component of the business. This would afford our team a fresh perspective, new challenges and the opportunity to work with both new and existing clients. We assembled a great team and formed The Ouimette Group – specialists in Executive Search. With my personal preferences and core competencies aligned, my team and I have decided upon this new direction with conviction and resolve.
